The Passive 2-Way Audio Crossover Network is a premium, heavy-duty electronic component engineered to deliver precise frequency separation and absolute signal fidelity in high-output loudspeaker enclosures.
Rated to handle a robust 400 Watts of continuous power, this dual-channel filter network is meticulously tailored for sound reinforcement technicians, custom speaker builders, and audio installers who need to safely split full-range audio signals into dedicated low and high frequency paths.
Operating with a fixed, electronically aligned transition point at 3100Hz, the crossover circuit ensures that deep low-end punch and mid-range vocals are routed to the woofer, while bright high frequencies are directed to the compression driver.
Both the low-frequency and high-frequency paths utilize an optimized second-order slope design, providing smooth acoustic blending and reducing out-of-band distortion.
Built on a thick, heat-resistant fiberglass substrate populated with premium metal-film capacitors and oversized inductors, this crossover guarantees linear performance and exceptional circuit protection under demanding, high-SPL venue conditions.
Features
Precise 3100Hz Acoustic Division: Configured with an electronically optimized dual-channel frequency partition.
This transition point is perfectly optimized to keep high frequencies out of mid-bass woofers and lower mid-range strains out of delicate high-frequency tweeters.
Balanced 12dB Per Octave Filter Slopes: Engineered with matched second-order low-pass and high-pass filtering circuits.
This phase-aligned matrix is ideal for creating a seamless acoustic overlap between drivers while providing rapid attenuation outside their safe working bands.
High-Power 400 Watt Handling Matrix: Populated with thick-gauge copper inductors and industrial-grade power resistors.
This heavy-duty power design is critical for managing high-current audio signals from professional power amplifiers without experiencing thermal compression.
Premium Metallized Polypropylene Capacitors: Assembled using low-loss, high-voltage signal capacitors.
These high-fidelity components are essential for preserving crisp high-frequency transients, low distortion, and natural vocal clarity across the entire audio spectrum.
Rugged Fiberglass PCB Architecture: Laid out on a rigid, heavy-duty printed circuit board with integrated mounting points.
This durable physical footprint is perfect for permanent installation inside heavy wood or composite PA cabinets, resisting intense cabinet vibrations.
