About Us
Philtron Electronics (Pty) Ltd was founded in Pretoria in 1973. Over it's 51 year history Philtron has established itself as a leading importer and distributor of audio and communications products, as well as accessories to the consumer and industrial electronics sectors. In August of 2004 became part of the Communica Group - an industry giant in components and industrial electronics, thus setting the stage for bigger business, better service and a more extensive product range.

Products are specifically designed for Philtron - directly from our manufacturers - allowing us to sell high quality products at very competitive prices.
HIGH AVAILABILITY OF STOCK
Through an efficient stock control system we can assure you a 95% stock availability, enabling you - our customer to have the products you want when you want them.
TECHNICAL SUPPORT
Our sales staff are well informed and available to answer any questions you may have, be it technical or otherwise. We have an onsite Repairs Department, where warranty repairs are carried out within a 7 day cycle (Subject to spare parts availability)
Our onsite repair service is currently only available in Gauteng. Repairs outside of Gauteng are serviced through Mastercare, a nationwide repair service company.
CUSTOMER VISITS
Our dedicated sales staff visit customers all over Southern Africa and we would welcome the opportunity to visist your premises to service your requirements. Please do not hesitate to call upon us as we have representatives dedicated to most regions throughout Southern Africa.
DELIVERIES
Philtron provides a variety of delivery services, which includes our own vehicles as well as reliable out-sourced courier services. Thereby we can ensure a highly reliable delivery service at all times.
LOCAL EXPORT SERVICES
We pride ourselves in despatching all orders within 24 hours. Orders are shipped throughout Africa and we welcome your enquiries and orders via telephone, fax or e-mail.
